Dispatcher - daily route planning (Grand Rapids, MI)

Harborlight Hollow Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Grand Rapids. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on daily route planning. You would join a small organisation of about 18 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling service complaints on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Knowledge of service complaints. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
