Dispatcher - daily route planning (Grand Rapids, MI)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Ashton Inspection Services and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be daily route planning. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling field inspections on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of field inspections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
