Dispatcher - daily route planning (Fresno, CA)

Stonegate Hollow Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Fresno, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our daily route planning. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling dock schedules on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of dock schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Fresno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
