Dispatcher - daily route planning (Des Moines, IA)

Cedar Orchard Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Des Moines with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on daily route planning. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling service complaints on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of service complaints. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
