Dispatcher - daily route planning (Columbus, OH)

Summit Stone Freight Group is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on daily route planning for dock schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 34 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling dock schedules on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of dock schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Columbus. • We reply to every applicant.
