Dispatcher - daily route planning (Columbus, OH)

Westbrook Wren Environmental Services Group is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on daily route planning for landfill records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 419 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling landfill records on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of landfill records. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
