Dispatcher - daily route planning (Colorado Springs, CO)

Bright Orchard Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Colorado Springs with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on daily route planning. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling collection routes on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of collection routes. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Colorado Springs, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
