Dispatcher - daily route planning (Charlotte, NC)

Summit Fern Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Charlotte. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on daily route planning. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling claims on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Knowledge of claims. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Charlotte. • We reply to every applicant.
