Dispatcher - daily route planning (Charlotte, NC)

Greenridge Keystone Freight is a Charlotte logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on daily route planning. You would join a large organisation of about 504 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling dock schedules on changes. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of dock schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charlotte. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
