Dispatcher - daily route planning (Buffalo, NY)

Amberfield West Freight is a Buffalo logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our daily route planning. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling dock schedules on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of dock schedules. • Experience with routing software.
