Dispatcher - daily route planning (Buffalo, NY)

Fernwood Lakeside Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Buffalo. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on daily route planning. You would join a large organisation of about 333 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling equipment calibration on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of equipment calibration. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Buffalo. • We reply to every applicant.
