Dispatcher - daily route planning (Birmingham, AL)

Rivermark Cross Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Birmingham. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on daily route planning. You would join a large organisation of about 960 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling scheduling on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Knowledge of scheduling. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
