Dispatcher - daily route planning (Baltimore, MD)

Rivermark Bridge Freight Group coordinates shipments and warehousing around Baltimore, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our daily route planning. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling loads and lanes on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Baltimore, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
