Dispatcher - daily route planning (Baltimore, MD)

Amberfield Holdings is a Baltimore logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our daily route planning. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling customer tracking on changes. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Knowledge of customer tracking. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Baltimore. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
