Dispatcher - daily route planning (Atlanta, GA)

Rivermark Lakeside Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Atlanta. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on daily route planning. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling loads and lanes on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Knowledge of loads and lanes. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Atlanta. • We reply to every applicant.
