Dispatcher - customer updates (Virginia Beach, VA)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Glen Inspection Services and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be customer updates. You would join a small organisation of about 34 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling scheduling on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of scheduling. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
