Dispatcher - customer updates (St. Louis, MO)

Fernwood Hollow Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in St. Louis. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on customer updates. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling recycling loads on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of recycling loads. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in St. Louis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
