Dispatcher - customer updates (Spokane, WA)

Northwind Quarry Environmental Services Group collects and processes waste and recycling around Spokane, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our customer updates. You would join a small organisation of about 107 people based in Spokane. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling service complaints on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Knowledge of service complaints. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Spokane. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
