Dispatcher - customer updates (Spokane, WA)

Lumen Birch Freight is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on customer updates for customer tracking, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Spokane. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling customer tracking on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Knowledge of customer tracking. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Spokane. • We reply to every applicant.
