Dispatcher - customer updates (Savannah, GA)

We are growing our team at Summit Umber Inspection Services and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be customer updates. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling scheduling on changes. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of scheduling. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Savannah, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
