Dispatcher - customer updates (San Jose, CA)

Lumen Meridian Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across San Jose. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on customer updates. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling scheduling on changes. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of scheduling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
