Dispatcher - customer updates (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Redstone Orchard Freight and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be customer updates. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling loads and lanes on changes. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
