Dispatcher - customer updates (Sacramento, CA)

Clearpath Wren Freight is a Sacramento logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our customer updates. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Coordinate with the teams handling carrier rates on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of carrier rates. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
