Dispatcher - customer updates (Richmond, VA)

Nova Fern Environmental Services Group is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on customer updates for collection routes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling collection routes on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of collection routes.
