Dispatcher - customer updates (Richmond, VA)

Bright Yarrow Inspection Services is an inspection company in Richmond with field technicians and lab staff, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our customer updates. You would join a small organisation of about 50 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling client sites on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Knowledge of client sites. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Richmond. • We reply to every applicant.
