Dispatcher - customer updates (Reno, NV)

Stonegate Forge Environmental Services is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on customer updates for collection routes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Reno. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling collection routes on changes. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of collection routes. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
