Dispatcher - customer updates (remote)

Amberfield Harbor Farms is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on customer updates for cold storage, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Coordinate with the teams handling cold storage on changes. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of cold storage. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
