Dispatcher - customer updates (remote)

Silverline Sparrow Environmental Services is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on customer updates for weigh tickets, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 343 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling weigh tickets on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of weigh tickets. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Tampa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
