Dispatcher - customer updates (remote)

Westbrook Clear Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Indianapolis, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our customer updates. You would join a large organisation of about 657 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling customer tracking on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of customer tracking. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Indianapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
