Dispatcher - customer updates (remote)

Stonegate Lakeside Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Virginia Beach with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on customer updates. You would join a small organisation of about 183 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling landfill records on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of landfill records. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
