Dispatcher - customer updates (remote)

We are growing our team at Northwind Clear Farms Group and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be customer updates. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling harvest schedules on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
