Dispatcher - customer updates (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Rowan Freight and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be customer updates. We reward reliability. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Coordinate with the teams handling dock schedules on changes. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Knowledge of dock schedules. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
