Dispatcher - customer updates (remote)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Sparrow Environmental Services Group and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be customer updates. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Coordinate with the teams handling weigh tickets on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Knowledge of weigh tickets. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
