Dispatcher - customer updates (remote)

Highbridge Lakeside Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Baltimore, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our customer updates. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling loads and lanes on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Baltimore. • We reply to every applicant.
