Dispatcher - customer updates (remote)

Northwind Mill Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Richmond. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on customer updates. You would join a small organisation of about 46 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling landfill records on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Knowledge of landfill records. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
