Dispatcher - customer updates (remote)

Silverline Orchard Freight is a Jackson logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our customer updates. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling proof of delivery on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
