Dispatcher - customer updates (remote)

Clearpath Fern Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Portland, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our customer updates. You would join a small organisation of about 35 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling dock schedules on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Knowledge of dock schedules. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
