Dispatcher - customer updates (remote)

Greenridge Fern Farms is an agricultural business based around Pittsburgh, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our customer updates. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling packing house output on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of packing house output. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
