Dispatcher - customer updates (remote)

Lumen Birch Freight is a Spokane logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our customer updates. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling claims on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of claims. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Spokane. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
