Dispatcher - customer updates (remote)

Rivermark Quarry Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Portland. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on customer updates. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling scheduling on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Knowledge of scheduling. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
