Dispatcher - customer updates (remote)

Greenridge Cross Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in New Orleans with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on customer updates. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling fleet maintenance on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
