Dispatcher - customer updates (Raleigh, NC)

Fernwood Rowan Freight is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on customer updates for customer tracking, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We reward reliability. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling customer tracking on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of customer tracking. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Raleigh. • We reply to every applicant.
