Dispatcher - customer updates (Providence, RI)

Bluepeak Ivory Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Providence. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on customer updates. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Coordinate with the teams handling seasonal crews on changes. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Knowledge of seasonal crews. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
