Dispatcher - customer updates (Portland, OR)

Foxglove Keystone Environmental Services Associates serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Portland. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on customer updates. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling recycling loads on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of recycling loads. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
