Dispatcher - customer updates (Portland, OR)

Westbrook Oak Inspection Services is an inspection company in Portland with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on customer updates. You would join a small organisation of about 64 people based in Portland. What you will do • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling test reports on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Knowledge of test reports. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
