Dispatcher - customer updates (Phoenix, AZ)

Summit Lakeside Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Phoenix. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on customer updates. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling recycling loads on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of recycling loads. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Phoenix. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
