Dispatcher - customer updates (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Northwind West Environmental Services and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be customer updates. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Coordinate with the teams handling landfill records on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of landfill records. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
