Dispatcher - customer updates (Oakland, CA)

Highbridge Drift Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Oakland. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on customer updates. You would join a small organisation of about 19 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling loads and lanes on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Knowledge of loads and lanes. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
