Dispatcher - customer updates (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Northwind Harbor Environmental Services and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be customer updates. You would join a large organisation of about 618 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling collection routes on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Knowledge of collection routes. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
