Dispatcher - customer updates (New Orleans, LA)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Harbor Freight and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be customer updates. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling customer tracking on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of customer tracking. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
